Barton County Library Adds AtoZ Food America to Reference Collection

The Barton County Public Library is pleased to announce that it has recently added AtoZ Food America to its online reference offerings. This exciting new resource contains more than 2,000 state, regional, and ethnic recipes—including food culture articles—as well as historical and reference articles including an ingredients section. AtoZ Food America is the largest food database of its kind focused solely on diverse American cuisine.

Anyone can access AtoZ Food America from the library’s portal at with their library card. AtoZ Food America also enables users to forward recipes to friends by email and even create their own personal cookbook of favorite recipes.

The new schedule is shown below.  Patrons are still requested to limit their visits to 30 minutes, and masks are recommended for unvaccinated visitors. Library staff and Board of Trustees will continue to monitor the situation and modify the plan as needed. Curbside delivery will continue to be offered during open hours. Place your holds online by going to or call your local branch. Stay up-to-date by following the Library’s Facebook page and visiting our website,
